Get started! This certified course will provide you with all that you need to start rock-climbing. Course syllabus includes introduction to various climbing equipment, belaying techniques and some climbing techniques.

Courses are held over one day in NUS Rock Gym, and are conducted by certified instructors. Upon completion, you will receive a Certification Card issued by Singapore Mountaineering Federation.

Membership to NUS Climbing Sub Club is complimentary upon completion of the course.

Become a member of our climbing team. You do not need to have any prior climbing or competition experience. Head down to NUS Rock Gym between 12th Aug to 14th Aug (AFTER 6PM).

Our only requirement is that you wear something comfortable as you’ll be doing some climbing.

Looking for energetic, fun-loving, cute individuals who are interested in working with other energetic, fun-loving, cute individuals in the committee. Be part of a vibrant team involved in the running of the climbing sub club and its events/activities such as Boulderactive (yes, it is a pretty huge public event). In the process, discover yourself and your passion for climbing!

Positions available:

Treasurer - you will handle club finances and purchases. training will be provided, all we ask is that you dun run away with our money.

Business Team (Marketing) - if you have the knack for negotiating deals and love to deal with external commercial entities, this is the job for you. We are also looking for our very own creative director to handle all publicity efforts (good Photohop skills is a plus) for our events.

Logistics officer - all equipment big and small are essential. No equipment no climb. You play God as you approve the lease of any equipment.

Webmaster - our website is our lifeline! your job is to make wonders out of it
